Keltic Centina

Foaled July 4, 2007

Birdie is a beautiful, very balanced, registered Irish Draught Sport Horse.  Her dam, Abbeyleix  Maid of Diamonds is a Registered Irish Draught mare.  Her sire, Kiva Cinnabar is a Morgan Stallion shown in first level dressage and trained to second level.  Birdie is an exceptional blend of her  parents. She looks like a smaller version of her mother, with her father's kind sweet eye and pleasing head.  She has her mother's quiet even temperament and sweet disposition.

She inherited a nice laidback shoulder from her dad and a nice long sloping hip from mom. Birdie is very evenly balanced in her proportions with 1/3 in each section.  She comes by her athletism naturally from both parents.

She is eligible to be in the Irish Draught stud books for breeding after completing her mare inspection.

We expect Birdie to mature  about 16 hands and weigh about 1200 to 1300 pounds.

Birdie would make an excellent Dressage, Eventing, jumper or carriage horse. Even though she is young we have worked a lot with Birdie on the ground and she is a pleasure to work around. She easily leads, loads and is great to have her feet trimmed.

Video of Shelby

Shelby is our 9-year-old Morgan  mare. She is an exceptional mare and shows great potential  in Dressage. She rides well in Western and English Saddles. She loves to trail ride, by herself or with friends.

Shelby has attended two Dressage schooling shows and placed well in each.  With scores well into the 60's, her highest being a 67.619%, Shelby and her adult amateur owner were Reserve Champions at their first Dressage Schooling show on April 8, 2006  in Auburn, Nebraska.  Shelby thought nothing of the hustle and bustle of attending her first shows and acted like she was an old pro. At the end of the show season Shelby had qualified to compete in the Nebraska Dressage Associations year end championships.

Shelby is extremely well put together, has a wonderful springy trot and fluid canter.
